Brass Wire Mesh

Brass wire mesh has a yellow bright color. Brass is the alloy of copper and zinc. It contains 65% copper and 35% zinc. Brass wire is woven into fine woven meshes or coarse woven meshes. Compared with the red color of copper woven wire mesh the brass woven wire mesh has yellow colors.
Brass wire mesh can be used instead of stainless steel wire material. Brass wires are ideal as they have superior resistance to abrasion and corrosion. They also have a lower electrical conductivity compared to copper wire mesh.
The brass wire mesh is also called paper making cloth which is used in the paper making industry. Paper making cloth uses the phosphor bronze wires in the warp and brass wires in the weft. Brass woven wire cloth has outstanding acid and alkali resistance so it is widely used for filtering applications.
